Osobno se ne bavim ciljano skupljanjem kalkulatora, no svakako iskoristim priliku za povoljnu kupnju nekog starijeg modela d\u017eepnog kalkulatora sa VFD ili LED displejom. Tako se sakupilo nekih 60-tak modela, a u ovoj objavi \u0107emo izdvojiti primjerke proizvedene u doma\u0107im tvornicama.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Digitron db801<\/li>\n<li>Digitron db802<\/li>\n<li>Digitron db813<\/li>\n<li>Digitron Vektor 3<\/li>\n<li>Digitron Scalar 30<\/li>\n<li>RIZ Descom 86 M<\/li>\n<li>RIZ Descom 89<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/digitron_buje_01.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[16985]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-16986\" src=\"http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/digitron_buje_01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1300\" height=\"835\" srcset=\"http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/digitron_buje_01.jpg 1300w, http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/digitron_buje_01-768x493.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1300px) 100vw, 1300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Kalkulatori sa numeri\u010dkim elektroni\u010dkim displejima po\u010deli su se proizvoditi krajem 1960-tih godina, a ve\u0107 po\u010detkom 1970-tih godina pojavili su se prvi d\u017eepni kalkulatori bazirani na jednom specijaliziranom \u010dipu (Calculator-on-a-chip). Prvi takav \u010dip predstavio je Mostek u sije\u010dnju1971. godine pod oznakom MK6010 (MK5010). \u010cip je razvijen po narud\u017ebi, odnosno proizveden prema ekskluzivnom prodajnom ugovoru s tvrtkom Nippon Calculating Machine Co. iz Tokija za kori\u0161tenje u Nipponovoj liniji Busicom kalkulatora. \u010cip je podr\u017eavao \u010detiri osnovne ra\u010dunske operacije i 12 znamenkasti prikaz. Sadr\u017eavao je 2100 tranzistora koji su bili sastavni dio 360 logi\u010dkih vrata i 160 flip-flopova. Ugra\u0111en je u novu ina\u010dicu kalkulatora Busicom Junior gdje je sada jedan \u010dip zamjenjivao njih 22 ugra\u0111ivanih u staru ina\u010dicu Busicom Juniora. U novoj ina\u010dici je zadr\u017ean je displej za zasebnim VFD cijevima za svaku znamenku i pripadaju\u0107i tranzistorski drajveri. Me\u0111utim, ve\u0107 u velja\u010di 1971. godine Mostek je razvio pobolj\u0161anu ina\u010dicu \u010dipa sa oznakom MK6010L koji je imao manju potro\u0161nju struje i bio pogodan za baterijsko napajanje. To je omogu\u0107ilo lansiranje prvog pravog d\u017eepnog kalkulatora Busicom LE-120A &#8220;HANDY-LE&#8221; koji je sada dobio 12 znamenkasti LED displej. \u010cipovi Mostek MK6010 i MK6010L nalaze se samo u kalkulatorima koje je proizvodio Busicom, a kasnije je pu\u0161ten u op\u0107u prodaju kao MK5010.<\/p>\n<p>Nakon Mosteka i drugi veliki proizvo\u0111a\u010di kalkulatora u\u0161li su u natjecanje za razvoj kalkulatora na jednom \u010dipu. Tako su krajem 1971. godine na tr\u017ei\u0161te iza\u0161li prvi kalkulatori sa Texas Instruments TMS1802NC (TMS0102) \u010dipom, a po\u010detkom 1972. godine kalkulatori sa General Instrument G250 \u010dipom. U tr\u017ei\u0161nom natjecanju razvoja &#8220;kalkulatora na \u010dipu&#8221; ve\u0107 u prvoj polovici 1970-tih godina znatno su pali tro\u0161kovi proizvodnje kao i sama cijena takvih kalkulatora, te su se isti po\u010deli masovno proizvoditi kao roba \u0161iroke potro\u0161nje.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u0160to se ti\u010de doma\u0107e proizvodnje, tvornica Digitron iz Buja (Istra) osnovana je 1971. godine i iste godine je lansirala prvi elektroni\u010dki d\u017eepni kalkulator u Europi, model db800 baziran na \u010dipu Texas Instrumentsa. Kalkulator je podr\u017eavao \u010detiri osnovne ra\u010dunske operacije i prikaz na 8 znamenki. Prema podacima koji se mogu prona\u0107i na Internetu kalkulator db800 je pu\u0161ten u prodaju u svibnju ili lipnju 1971. godine i sadr\u017eavao je \u010dip ameri\u010dke tvrtke Texas Instruments (vjerojatno TMS1802). Ovo malo pobu\u0111uje sumnju jer je Texas Instruments svoje prve \u010dipove TMS1802 proizveo u rujnu 1971. godine, a njihovo slu\u017ebeno predstavljanje je slijedilo jo\u0161 mjesec-dva kasnije.<\/p>\n<p>TMS1802 je u po\u010detku istina prodavan na slobodnom tr\u017ei\u0161tu raznim proizvo\u0111a\u010dima kalkulatora i na njemu se baziraju prvi d\u017eepni baterijski kaklulatori. Texas Instruments pak je proizvodnju i marketing svojeg prvog kalkulatora baziranog na tom \u010dipu odgodio za srpanj 1972. godine (TI-2500 &#8220;Datamath&#8221;). Do tada je ve\u0107 nekoliko modela kalkulatora koristilo TMS1802, no nigdje se ne spominje Digitronov db800. Negdje se \u010dak spominje i dovr\u0161etak kalkulatora db800 krajem 1970. godine \u0161to nema nikakvog smisla. Mogu\u0107e da je ovaj kalkulator nastao krajem 1971. godine, no politi\u010dka propaganda je ovaj uspjeh doma\u0107e industrije svakako \u017eeljela svrstati u \u0161to ranije razdoblje kako bi bili uz bok vode\u0107im svjetskim proizvo\u0111a\u010dima iz razvijenih zemalja.<\/p>\n<p>Tako\u0111er, tada\u0161nja cijena kalkulatora db800 se \u010desto uspore\u0111uje s tada\u0161njom cijenom \u201efi\u0107e\u201c, odnosno automobila Zastava 750 \u0161to je 1971. godine iznosilo oko 12 do 18 prosje\u010dnih mjese\u010dnih pla\u0107a. Ne znam mo\u017ee li itko izra\u010dunati kolika bi to bila dana\u0161nja protuvrijednost jer je 1971. godine bila aktualna stalna devalvacija dinara i revalorizacija doma\u0107e prema stranim valutama. Prosje\u010dna zarada je bila oko 1250 dinara, a jedan dolar je vrijedio 15 dinara, pa bi za db800 trebalo izdvojiti oko 1000 dolara. Za usporedbu, spomenuti Busicom LE-120A &#8220;HANDY-LE&#8221; se po\u010detkom 1971. godine prodavao po cijeni od 395 dolara, a bio je napredniji kalkulator sa 12 znamenki. Svakako da je sa takvom cijenom rijetko tko mogao kupiti prvi Digitronov d\u017eepni kalkulator, a nije mogao biti ni konkurentan za izvoz.<\/p>\n<p>Uz Digitron Buje proizvodnju elektroni\u010dkih kalkulatora nekad su imali TRS (Tvornica ra\u010dunskih strojeva Zagreb) i RIZ (Radio Industrija Zagreb). Oba ova poduze\u0107a osnovana su 1948. godine i postepeno uni\u0161tena nakon privatizacije u 1990-tim godinama.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a integriranim krugovima i \u010ditavoj plo\u010dici sa tipkovnicom vidimo oznaku tvrtke Texas Instruments. Tako\u0111er, na dvije plo\u010dice sa elektronikom ne nalazimo karakteristi\u010dne oznake Digitrona Buje. Mogu\u0107e da su se ovi prvi modeli Digitronovih kalkulatora nabavljali kao gotovi KIT kompleti.<\/em> <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Digitron db801 se bazira na integriranom krugu TMS0105NC (Texas Instruments), a prema datumskom kodu na na\u0161em primjerku isti je proizveden 1973. godine (prvi primjerci ovog \u010dipa datiraju iz 1972. godine). Isti ovaj \u010dip vidjeli smo i u kalkulatoru <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crowave.com\/blog\/2021\/07\/04\/kalkulator-olympia-cd-100\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Olympia CD 100<\/a>. Texas Instruments je tijekom 1970-tih godina razvio desetak sli\u010dnih ina\u010dica \u010dipova serije TMS01xx koji su implementirali kalkulatore sa \u010detiri osnovne matemati\u010dke operacije i podr\u017eavali prikaz na 8 ili 10 znamenki. TMS0105 sadr\u017ei ROM veli\u010dine 3520-bita, RAM veli\u010dine 182-bita, te decimalnu aritmeti\u010dku logiku i izlazni dekoder za pogon 7-segmentnih drivera. Gledan golim okom prikaz je vrlo o\u0161tar, bez svjetlosnih sjena i lako se uo\u010dava svaka pojedina\u010dna to\u010dkasta LED dioda. Ovo je vrlo uobi\u010dajeni spoj regulacije kakav smo susretali kod mnogih elektroni\u010dkih ure\u0111aja i razli\u010ditih napajanja. U na\u0161em slu\u010daju je paralelno izlaznim priklju\u010dnicama dodan \u201ebleeder\u201c otpornik od 3,3 k\u2126 koji slu\u017ei za brzo pra\u017enjenje filtarskog kondenzatora nakon isklju\u010denja iz mre\u017enog napona. Ovakvi otpornici se obi\u010dno stavljaju paralelno filtarskim kondenzatorima velikog kapaciteta i visokog radnog napona, kako bi se nakon isklju\u010denja napajanja brzo ispraznila uskladi\u0161tena energija u kondenzatorima koja mo\u017ee biti opasna ako se slu\u010dajnim dodirom isprazni preko korisnika ure\u0111aja. Ovdje pak taj otpornik poma\u017ee i boljem radu indikacijske LED diode \u010diji intenzitet svijetljenja ovisi o izlaznoj struji iz punja\u010da.<\/p>\n<p>Na dvije serijski vezane silicijske diode stvara se pad napona od oko 1,6 V. Mjerenjem smo utvrdili da je pad napona na svakoj diodi 0,8 V \u0161to je prili\u010dno visoka vrijednost \u010dak i za silicijske diode. Time je na LED diodi prisutan napon od 1,6 V i ista se po\u010dinje paliti kada ukupna struja iz ispravlja\u010da dosegne 60 mA. Maksimalna struja iz ispravlja\u010da je oko 200 mA i tu LED svijetli punim sjajem (struja kroz LED je oko 10 mA). Ovo funkcionira kao indikacija punjenja baterija. Po\u010detna struja punjenja je najve\u0107a i tu LED svijetli najja\u010de. Kako se baterije pune tako struja punjenja pada, a time i intenzitet svjetla indikacijske LED sve dok se kod punih baterija LED potpuno nje ugasi.<\/p>\n<p>Za na\u0161 konkretni punja\u010d, na zener-diodi smo izmjerili napon 8,8 V \u0161to uz pad napona na BE spoju izlaznog tranzistora daje izlazni napon iz regulatora od 8,2 V. Na diodama nastaje dodatni pad napona od 1,6 V tako da na izlazu dobivamo napon od 6,6 V. Za Ni-Cd baterije koje su u 1970-tim godinama bile u upotrebi napon punjenja mora biti u rasponu 1,2-1,45 V po \u0107eliji, a on je u na\u0161em slu\u010daju 1,65 V.<\/p>\n<p>Ovo su vrijednosti dosta vi\u0161e od nominalnih (na kutiji pi\u0161e 6 V \/ 250 mA) pa je mogu\u0107e da neke komponente otkazuju od starosti. Prilikom mjerenja ispravlja\u010d smo opteretili strujom od 100 mA, no na struji od 150 mA napon padne na 6 V i tranzistor se ve\u0107 prili\u010dno grije pa nismo dalje optere\u0107ivali ispravlja\u010d. Sli\u010dno se pona\u0161aju oba ispravlja\u010da koje imamo na raspolaganju, a to se ne bi smjelo de\u0161avati. Napon mora ostati stabilan pod optere\u0107enjem, a tranzistor umjereno zagrijani jer BC 286 izdr\u017ei 1A kolektorske struje. Vjerojatno je potrebno zamijeniti filtarski kondenzator, zener diodu, mogu\u0107e i tranzistor jer je zener napon previsok. Na shemi smo ispisali vrijednosti kakve bi trebale biti za izlazni napon 6 V. Ovaj \u010dip ima interni oscilator takta pa su mu dovoljni samo vanjski otpornik i kondenzator za odre\u0111ivanje nominalne frekvencije takta od cca 140 kHz. \u010cetiri diode koje vidimo na plo\u010dici slu\u017ee za kodiranje matrice tipkovnice, u na\u0161em slu\u010daju za postavljanje tipke za ra\u010dunanje kvadratnog korijena i sklopke za pomak decimalne to\u010dke. Magneti (kad su bili novi) u kombinaciji sa jednim duplim kontaktom vrlo vjerojatno su osiguravali dovoljno dobar spoj. U kona\u010dnici, zahvaljuju\u0107i indikacijskoj LED odmah se dobije potvrda da li je kalkulator dobro stavljen na punja\u010d i da li je punjenje zapo\u010delo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p Me\u0111utim, zbog kriti\u010dnih dimenzija ti kalkulatori su imali krhka ku\u0107i\u0161ta te maksimalno pojednostavljene sklopke i tipkovnice \u0161to im je skra\u0107ivalo \u017eivotni vijek, te smanjivalo vanjsku robusnost i otpornost.<\/p>\n<p>Na ova \u010detiri primjerka Digitronovih d\u017eepnih kalkulatora lijepo se mo\u017ee vidjeti kako su se postepeno ali tako\u0111er i vrlo brzo razvijali \u010dipovi za kalkulatore. Prvim primjercima \u010dipova bilo je potrebno obavezno dodati tranzistorske ili integrirane drajvere za pogon \u017eeljene vrste displeja (obi\u010dno VFD ili LED), no ve\u0107 dvije-tri godine kasnije razvijeni su \u010dipovi kojima gotovo i nisu vi\u0161e bile potrebne vanjske komponente. Tako\u0111er, u masovnu upotrebu u\u0161li su LCD displeji \u0161to je zna\u010dilo drasti\u010dno smanjenu potro\u0161nju struje i omogu\u0107ilo napajanje malim dugmastim baterijama. Baterije su dovoljno dugo trajale da se nije isplatilo ugra\u0111ivati punjive baterije i proizvoditi punja\u010de. Iz svega ne \u010duti da Digitron \u017eeli prezentirati svoj prvi primjerak d\u017eepnog kalkulatora u \u0161to ranije razdoblje, jer je u samo 6 mjeseci napravljen ogroman iskorak u razvoju te tehnologije i \u0161irenju masovne proizvodnje takvih kalkulatora.<\/p>\n<p>\u0160teta \u0161to nemamo prvi primjerak \u010duvenog Digitronovog kalkulatora db800, no po onome \u0161to smo vidjeli na db801 \u010dini se da je tu bilo malo doma\u0107e pameti i da je \u010ditavo sklopovlje bilo proizvedeno u Texas Instrumentsu. Ne znamo tko je proizvodio ku\u0107i\u0161ta za serije db801 do db813, no vrlo je \u010dudno napravljena zadnja strana gdje se smje\u0161taju baterije. Ta zadnja strana je sastavljena od dva polu-spojena dijela i ne vidim razlog takvoj konstrukciji. Tako Descom 86 za razliku od Descoma 86 M ne koristi memorijske tipke.<\/p>\n<p>Zanimljivo je da je RIZ u isto vrijeme radio vi\u0161e ina\u010dica Descom 86 kalkulatora sa istim integriranim krugom, od kojih su neki iskori\u0161tavali samo dio mogu\u0107nosti \u010dipa C-595. Mogu\u0107e da je bila rije\u010d o nekom marketin\u0161kom triku kako bi se proizvelo vi\u0161e &#8220;razli\u010ditih&#8221; modela cjenovno i funkcionalno prilago\u0111enih odre\u0111enom tr\u017ei\u0161tu. Te\u0161ko da bi dodatak dvije ili tri dodatne tipke u blok tipkovnice zna\u010dajno podigao proizvodnu cijenu kalkulatora, pogotovo jer se radi o jeftino izra\u0111enim plasti\u010dnim elementima ku\u0107i\u0161ta u Italiji.<\/p>\n<p>Uvijek treba biti svjestan \u010dinjenice da govorimo o 1970-tim godinama, kada elektroni\u010dka ra\u010dunala kod nas jo\u0161 uvijek nisu bila ra\u0161irena u \u0161irokoj potro\u0161nji. Pogre\u0161no kori\u0161tenje memorijskih tipki moglo bi dovesti po pogre\u0161nih izra\u010duna pa su za neke slu\u017ebene primjene mogu\u0107e namjerno radile ina\u010dice koje imaju samo osnovne svima prepoznatljive funkcije. Tako\u0111er, neki kupci jednostavno nisu htjeli kupovati (pla\u0107ati) vi\u0161e od onoga \u0161to im je nu\u017eno potrebno bez obzira \u0161to dodatne funkcije tek neznatno povisuju cijenu ure\u0111aja. Kako god bilo, od sredine 1970-tih godina na tr\u017ei\u0161tu d\u017eepnih kalkulatora se razvila ve\u0107 vrlo velika konkurencija, te su se proizvo\u0111a\u010di i trgovci slu\u017eili svim mogu\u0107im trikovima da \u0161to bolje plasiraju svoje proizvode.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Na ovim primjercima kalkulatora mogli smo vidjeti kako se \u010dipovi za kalkulatore vrlo brzo razvijali u razdoblju od po\u010detka 1971. godine kada su iza\u0161li prvi &#8220;Calculator-on-a-chip&#8221; integrirani krugovi koji su trebali vanjske oscilatore, prilago\u0111ena napajanja i drajvere za VFD ili LCD displeje, pa do kraja 1977. godine kada je \u010ditav kalkulator prakti\u010dki sadr\u017eavao samo jedan \u010dip i LCD displej. Naravno, nisu svi proizvo\u0111a\u010di kalkulatora mogli u stopu pratiti nove trendove razvoja kalkulatorskih \u010dipova. Novi \u010dipovi sa ve\u0107om integracijom sklopova, sa sve manje potrebnih vanjskih elemenata i sa sve manjom cijenom izlazili su na tr\u017ei\u0161te jednom ili dvaput godi\u0161nje, a to su mogli pratiti samo veliki proizvo\u0111a\u010di kalkulatora sa svojim novim modelima. Digitron i RIZ su uglavnom ugra\u0111ivali &#8220;pro\u0161logodi\u0161nje&#8221; \u010dipove, no ne mo\u017eemo znati da li je razlog tome bila povoljnija cijena nabave ili (pre)duga\u010dak period od razvoja do proizvodnje kona\u010dnog proizvoda na odre\u0111enom \u010dipu. Razlog tome je \u0161to VFD za razliku LCD-a sjaji vlastitom svjetlosti, te je vrlo kontrastan i lako \u010ditljiv pod svim kutovima gledanja i pod svim uvjetima osvjetljenja. Glede toga, karakteristike su mu bolje i od LED displeja. Iz tog razloga VFD se zadr\u017eao i danas na registar-kasama i raznim elektroni\u010dkim ure\u0111ajima gdje se iz estetskih razloga \u017eeli dobiti posebno lijepi i sjajni prikaz. Anodni napon za VFD displej je vjerojatno nereguliranih 35 V, a grijanje katode VFD-a ide preko sekundarnih namotaja 2&#215;2,7 V. Baziraju se na jednom specijaliziranom \u010dipu i za te \u010dipove je danas vrlo te\u0161ko iskopati bilo kakve podatke. U najboljem slu\u010daju na\u0111e se kakav pin-out za \u010dipove iz 1970-tih godina ili vrlo jednostavni tvorni\u010dki podaci o potrebnim vanjskim sklopovima.<\/p>\n<p>S obzirom da se svi d\u017eepni kalkulatori napajaju preko jedne baterije (ili baterijskog paketa), a kalkulatorski \u010dipovi izra\u0111eni u MOS tehnologiji zahtijevaju barem dvije razine napona napajanja, osnovni vanjski sklopovi ugra\u0111eni u kalkulatore su DC\/DC pretvara\u010di. Kako je to bilo uobi\u010dajeno u 1970-tim godinama, masa ure\u0111aja (GND) je plus pol napajanja, a onda se tra\u017ee jo\u0161 dvije razine negativnog napona \u010desto vi\u0161eg od napona baterije. Ovo se osigurava preko tranzistorskih DC\/DC pretvara\u010da sa transformatorom.<\/p>\n<p>Drugi vanjski sklop je oscilator takta za rad kalkulatorskog \u010dipa (mikrokontrolera). Ranije ina\u010dice \u010dipova su zahtijevale kompletni oscilator (frekvencije stotinjak kHz), a neke ina\u010dice i dva oscilatora. To su uglavnom tranzistorski relaksacijski oscilatori u spoju astabilnog miltivibratora, no negdje su ugra\u0111ivani i oscilatori bazirani na logi\u010dkim krugovima (inverterima). Kasnije ina\u010dice \u010dipova su dobile svoj vlastiti interni oscilator, kojemu je trebalo dodati samo vanjske RC ili LC elemente za odre\u0111ivanje frekvencije takta.<\/p>\n<p>Na kraju, sve ina\u010dice \u010dipova iz 1970-tih godina su trebale drajverske tranzistore jer sam \u010dip ne mo\u017ee dati ni naponsku razinu ni ja\u010dinu struje potrebnu za pogon displeja i\/ili pisa\u010da. To su u po\u010detku bili pojedina\u010dni tranzistori, no brzo su se ra\u0161irili integrirani krugovi koji su u jednom ku\u0107i\u0161tu sadr\u017eavali obi\u010dno po 6 drajverskih tranzistora u Darlingtovom spoju. LCD displeju su dovoljne vrlo male struje i naponi i kalkulatori sa takvim displejima obi\u010dno ne trebaju dodatne drajvere.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Pi\u0161u\u0107i objavu o doma\u0107im kalkulatorima do\u0161ao sam u kontakt sa g. Halasz Borisom koji je pribavio slike unutra\u0161njosti \u010duvenog Digitronovog d\u017eepnog kalkulatora db800, prvog takvog u Evropi.
