U kompletu smo prona\u0161li dvije elektrode sa pripadaju\u0107im nosa\u010dem, tri plasti\u010dne posudice za dr\u017eanje uzoraka otopina, kablove za spajanje elektroda sa instrumentom, te setove indikatorskih pH listi\u0107a. O pH mjera\u010dima ve\u0107 smo pisali u nekoliko na\u0161ih objava gdje je izme\u0111u ostalih predstavljen i jedan stariji Iskrin model <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crowave.com\/blog\/2016\/04\/28\/ph-metar-ma-5701\/\">PH METAR MA 5701<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/iskra_ph_ma5724_06.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[2562]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-2568\" src=\"http:\/\/www.crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/iskra_ph_ma5724_06-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"iskra_ph_ma5724_06\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/iskra_ph_ma5724_06-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/iskra_ph_ma5724_06-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/iskra_ph_ma5724_06-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ukratko \u0107emo ponoviti da se mjerenjem pH vrijednosti odre\u0111uje koncentracija iona vodika u nekoj teku\u0107ini (otopini). Koncentracija iona vodika odre\u0111uje stupanj kiselosti te teku\u0107ine. Na\u010din mjerenja, najjednostavnije re\u010deno, temelji se na principu mjerenja razlike elektri\u010dnog potencijala (napona) izme\u0111u dvije elektrode uronjene u mjerenu teku\u0107inu koja se pona\u0161a kao elektrolit. Dakle, nama koji smo vi\u0161e elektri\u010dari nego kemi\u010dari, cijeli proces je najlak\u0161e shvatiti kao formiranje svojevrsnog galvanskog \u010dlanka (baterije), sa dvije elektrode uronjene u elektrolit.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/iskra_ph_ma5724_18.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[2562]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-2580\" src=\"http:\/\/www.crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/iskra_ph_ma5724_18-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"iskra_ph_ma5724_18\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/iskra_ph_ma5724_18-768x1024.jpg 768w, http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/iskra_ph_ma5724_18-225x300.jpg 225w, http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/iskra_ph_ma5724_18.jpg 1728w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Spomenute dvije elektrode kod pH mjera\u010da se naj\u010de\u0161\u0107e zovu referentna i indikatorska. Svojstvo referentne elektrode je da ima to\u010dno poznat i stalan elektrodni potencijal koji je neovisan o sastavu otopine u koju je uronjena. Indikatorska elektroda pak treba proizvoditi napon koji je izravno ovisan o koli\u010dini odre\u0111enih iona u otopini. Dakle, indikatorska elektroda mora biti i selektivna, \u0161to zna\u010di da \u0107e reagirati samo na odre\u0111enu vrstu iona za koju je namijenjena.<\/p>\n<p>Kao referentne elektrode najpoznatije su vodikove,kalomel i srebro\/srebro-klorid elektrode. Osnovna podjela indikatorskih elektroda je na kovinske i membranske. U punom kompletu pH metra MA 5724 nalaze se kalomel (referentna), staklena (membranska) i kombinirana elektroda koja je kombinacija referentne i indikatorske elektrode u jednom ku\u0107i\u0161tu.<\/p>\n<p>Kalomel elektroda sadr\u017ei mje\u0161avinu \u017eive, kalomela (Hg2Cl2) i otopine kalijeva klorida u koju je uronjena platinska \u017eica. Zasi\u0107ena kalomel elektroda ima standardni potencijal 0.244\u00a0V pri 25\u00a0\u00b0C, ali s obzirom da je taj napon dosta ovisan o promjeni temperature prije mjerenja s ovom elektrodom potrebno je izvr\u0161iti temperaturnu kompenzaciju. Stoga \u0107emo kod svih pH mjera\u010da na\u0107i potenciometar za temperaturnu kompenzaciju ili se ona vr\u0161i automatski preko ugra\u0111enog termometra.<\/p>\n<p>Staklena elektroda spada u kategoriju indikatorskih membranskih elektroda. Sastoji se od posudice napravljene od specijalnog vrlo tankog stakla (membrana) ispunjene kloridnom kiselinom stalnog pH u koju je uronjena elektroda od srebro\/srebro klorida.Potencijal ove elektrode ovisi o omjeru vodikovih iona u elektrodi i izvan nje, odnosnou otopini u koju je uronjena. Na suho staklo pH ne utje\u010de pa se staklena membrana prije mjerenja mora mo\u010diti u vodi.<\/p>\n<p>Kad se referentna kalomel elektroda sa stalnim potencijalom i indikatorska staklena elektroda uronjene u otopinu kojoj mjerimo koncentraciju vodikovih iona pove\u017eu u strujni krug preko osjetljivog (elektronskog) voltmetra \u2013 dobili smo pH metar.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/iskra_ph_ma5724_022.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[2562]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10991\" src=\"http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/iskra_ph_ma5724_022.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1545\" height=\"932\" srcset=\"http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/iskra_ph_ma5724_022.jpg 1545w, http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/iskra_ph_ma5724_022-300x181.jpg 300w, http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/iskra_ph_ma5724_022-768x463.jpg 768w, http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/iskra_ph_ma5724_022-1024x618.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1545px) 100vw, 1545px\" \/><\/a><span style=\"color: #00ffff;\"><em>Lijevo: Rad sa dvije zasebne elektrode (referentna kalomel i indikatorska staklena)\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em><\/span><span style=\"color: #00ffff;\"><em>Desno: Rad sa jednom kombiniranom elektrodom<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Osim temperaturne kalibracije referentne elektrode, pH metar je povremeno potrebno kalibrirati i glede njegove to\u010dnosti pokazivanja na ba\u017edarenoj skali. To se obi\u010dno vr\u0161i uranjanjem elektroda u posebno pripremljene referentne otopine sa to\u010dno poznatom i stalnom pH vrijednosti. Ove otopine se zovu puferi. Postoje puferi za \u010ditav mjerni opseg pH metra, a ba\u017edarenje je dobro provesti sa vi\u0161e pufera razli\u010ditih vrijednosti pH.<\/p>\n<p>Mi smo u na\u0161em kompletu zatekli pH indikatorske trakice (lakmus papir) koje pokrivaju \u010ditav opseg od pH 1 do pH 14. Ove trakice se umo\u010de u otopinu kojoj \u017eelimo odrediti pH. Nakon kratkog vremena (3 sekunde) sredi\u0161nji obojani dio trake (dio bez ispisane vrijednosti) poprimiti \u0107e odre\u0111enu nijansu ovisno o pH vrijednosti teku\u0107ine. Ova nijansa usporedi se sa uzorcima boje sa ispisanim vrijednostima i tako se odredi pH. Vidimo da osnovu sklopa \u010dini komparacijsko poja\u010dalo sa ulazima za napone iz referentne i indikatorske elektrode. Referentna elektroda je na potencijslu mase za mjerenje napona, dok se za mjerenje pH potenciomnetrom STANDARDIZE odabire negativan napon za kompenzaciju naponskog potencijala referentne elektrode. Sve drugo su mjerni i kalibracijski otpornici (trimeri) za ba\u017edarenje prikaza pojedinih vrijednosti na instrumentu.<\/p>\n<p><a Ovaj 30 godina star instrument jo\u0161 uvijek izgleda vrlo dobro za svoje godine i na nama je o\u010duvati ga u takvom stanju \u0161to je mogu\u0107e du\u017ee vrijeme.
