Ovim broja\u010dem mogu\u0107e je mjeriti frekvencije u rasponu od 0 \u2013 50 MHz za DC, odnosno 25 \u2013 50 MHz za AC SIGNAL INPUT, zatim periode signala u rasponu od 1 \u00b5s \u2013 10 s (u koracima x10) i broj perioda (srednju vrijednost) u rasponu od 10 \u2013 100000 perioda, te me\u0111usobne odnose izme\u0111u dviju frekvencija (f1\/f2) pri \u010demu f1 mo\u017ee biti u rasponu 0 \u2013 50 MHz, a f2 u rasponu 0 \u2013 1 MHz ukoliko su periode iste odnosno do 300 kHz za signale s vi\u0161e razli\u010ditih perioda . Konverter radi na principu mije\u0161anja ulazne frekvencije sa frekvencijom oscilatora kako bi se na izlazu kao produkt mije\u0161anja dobile frekvencije u rasponu 0 \u2013 50 MHz pogodne za prikaz na broja\u010du frekvencije HP 5245L. Kao bazna frekvencija oscilatora mje\u0161a\u010da u modulu konvertera HP 5254B koristi se interni kristalni oscilator 1 MHz sa umno\u017eiva\u010dem x10 ugra\u0111en u broja\u010d frekvencije HP 5245L.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/frequency_counter_5245l_converter_5254b_02.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[2732]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-2734\" src=\"http:\/\/www.crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/frequency_counter_5245l_converter_5254b_02-1024x516.jpg\" alt=\"frequency_counter_5245l_converter_5254b_02\" width=\"1024\" height=\"516\" srcset=\"http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/frequency_counter_5245l_converter_5254b_02-1024x516.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/frequency_counter_5245l_converter_5254b_02-300x151.jpg 300w, http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/frequency_counter_5245l_converter_5254b_02-768x387.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mre\u017ena sklopka <strong>SAMPLE RATE<\/strong> uklju\u010duje napajanje za sve komponente broja\u010da frekvencije i konvertera osim za sklop grijanja komore sa kristalom 1 MHz. Za ovu komoru je sustav temperaturne stabilizacije stalno u funkciji (naravno, dok je ure\u0111aj spojen na mre\u017eni napon) i ne mo\u017ee se ru\u010dno isklju\u010diti kako bi se kroz \u010ditavo vrijeme zadr\u017eavali optimalni temperaturni\u00a0 uvjeti koji najvi\u0161e utje\u010du na to\u010dnost i stabilnost frekvencije kristala za oscilator 1 MHz.\u00a0 Funkcija ove sklopke je i kontrola vremena izme\u0111u dva mjerenja (0,2 s \u2013 5 s) te zamrzavanje prikaza vrijednosti na numeri\u010dkom pokaziva\u010du.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SENSITIVITY<\/strong> i <strong>LEVEL<\/strong> kontrole slu\u017ee za namje\u0161tanje ulazne osjetljivosti \u2013 atenuator(.1 = 50V, 1 = 150V i 10 = 500V RMS). U polo\u017eaju <strong>CHECK<\/strong> vr\u0161i se interni test broja\u010da frekvencije sa testnom frekvencijom od 10 MHz koja je dobivena umno\u017eavanjem osnovne frekvencije internog oscilatora 1 MHz x10. U polo\u017eaju <strong>PLUG IN<\/strong> ulazni signal doveden na konektore <strong>SIGNAL INPUT<\/strong> spaja se izravno na ulazno poja\u010dalo broja\u010da. Crvenim gumbom u sredini sa oznakama <strong>PRESET \u2013LEVEL+<\/strong> kontrolira se naponska razina ulaznog okida\u010da \u2013 triggera u tri koraka ovisno o polo\u017eaju prekida\u010da za ulaznu osjetljivost (.1 = -0,3V do +0,3V, 1 = -3V do +3V i 10 = -30V do +30V). U krajnjem lijevom polo\u017eaju potenciometra napon signala za okidanje je nula.<\/p>\n<p>Kontrolna sijalica <strong>GATE<\/strong> svijetli tijekom brojenja, odnosno kad su vremenska vrata otvorena.<\/p>\n<p>Konektor <strong>EXT.<\/strong> ima dvojaku ulogu: U polo\u017eaju sklopke <strong>TIME BASE<\/strong> na <strong>EXT.<\/strong> slu\u017ei kao ulazni konektor za dovo\u0111enje vi\u0161e frekvencije (ni\u017ea frekvencija se dovodi na <strong>SIGNAL INPUT<\/strong>) kod mjerenja me\u0111usobnih odnosa izme\u0111u dviju frekvencija.\u00a0 U polo\u017eaju sklopke <strong>TIME BASE<\/strong> na nekoj vremenskoj oznaci slu\u017ei kao izlazni konektor signala pripadaju\u0107e frekvencije (10 s do 0,1 \u00b5s = 0,1 Hz do 1 MHz).\u00a0 Sama kontrola <strong>TIME BASE<\/strong> ozna\u010dava vrijeme u kojem su vremenska vrata broja\u010da otvorena.<\/p>\n<p>Tipkalom <strong>RESET<\/strong> digitalni pokaziva\u010d i interni broja\u010di resetiraju se na nulu.<\/p>\n<p>Sklopka <strong>FUNCTION<\/strong> ima \u010detiri odvojena polja: U polo\u017eaju <strong>FREQUENCY<\/strong> mjeri se frekvencija signala dovedenog na <strong>SIGNAL INPUT<\/strong> u intervalu odre\u0111enom polo\u017eajem sklopke <strong>TIME BASE<\/strong>. U polo\u017eaju <strong>MANUAL START STOP<\/strong> ru\u010dno odre\u0111ujemo duljinu intervala mjerenja (vremensku bazu). Dakle, brojanje impulsa dovedenih na <strong>SIGNAL INPUT<\/strong> zapo\u010dinje stavljanjem sklopke u polo\u017eaj <strong>START<\/strong> i traje sve do prebacivanja sklopke u polo\u017eaj <strong>STOP<\/strong>. U polo\u017eaju <strong>PERIOD AVERAGE<\/strong> broje se periode ulaznog signala. Tu nalazimo i BNC ulaz za vanjski standardni izvor signala frekvencije 1 MHz (1 V na 1 k\u2126). Naime, HP 5245L ima ugra\u0111eni precizni i stabilan kristalni oscilator frekvencije 1 MHz koja je temeljna frekvencija za rad komponenti broja\u010da i od koje najvi\u0161e ovisi njegova to\u010dnost. Sklopkom <strong>MODE<\/strong> odabire rad sa ugra\u0111enim vlastitim oscilatorom 1 MHz (<strong>INT STD FREQ<\/strong>) ili rad sa vanjskim stabilnim izvorom ove frekvencije <strong>EXT STD FREQ (1 MHz)<\/strong>, odnosno ovom sklopkom ure\u0111aj HP 5245L prebacujemo iz funkcije broja\u010da frekvencije u funkciju generatora frekvencije (<strong>SCALER<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>COARSE FREQ ADJ<\/strong> predstavlja pristup promjenjivim komponentama oscilatora 1 MHz za pode\u0161avanje to\u010dne frekvencije.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/frequency_counter_5245l_converter_5254b_06.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[2732]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-2738\" src=\"http:\/\/www.crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/frequency_counter_5245l_converter_5254b_06-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"frequency_counter_5245l_converter_5254b_06\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/frequency_counter_5245l_converter_5254b_06-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/frequency_counter_5245l_converter_5254b_06-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/frequency_counter_5245l_converter_5254b_06-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Izlazni konektor <strong>DIGITAL RECORDER<\/strong> daje digitalne (BCD) signale sa informacijama o izmjerenim veli\u010dinama koje se mogu proslijediti na druge kompatibilne ure\u0111aje za registraciju, obradu ili ispis podataka.\u00a0 Izlazni BNC konektori <strong>AUX. A<\/strong> i <strong>AUX. Ulazni signal nepoznate frekvencije dovodi se na ulazni konektor<strong> INPUT 50\u2126<\/strong>. Gumb za odabir frekvencije mije\u0161anja postavljen je na najni\u017eu vrijednost 0,2 GHz. Polako okre\u0107emo gumb prema vi\u0161im vrijednostima frekvencije i pri tome pratimo kazaljku instrumenta. Kada ista prvi puta u\u0111e u zeleno polje dobili smo prvi odziv. Sada pro\u010ditamo frekvenciju koju pokazuje zaslon broja\u010da. Stvarna frekvencija dobije se izra\u010dunom te frekvencije i frekvencije koju o\u010ditamo na skali gumba za odabir frekvencije mije\u0161anja.<\/p>\n<p>Na primjer, ukoliko smo na zaslonu dobili ispisanu vrijednost od 20 MHz, a na skali gumba odziv je dobiven na frekvenciji 1000 MHz (oznaka 1.0) tada je frekvencija ulaznog signala 1000 + 20 = 1020 MHz.<\/p>\n<p>Za provjeru to\u010dnosti mjerenja mo\u017eemo nastaviti okretati gumb za odabir frekvencije mije\u0161anja prema vi\u0161im frekvencijama dok ne dobijemo drugi odziv u zelenom polju instrumenta. Za na\u0161u ulaznu frekvenciju o\u010dekivani odziv je na 1050 MHz. Na zaslonu \u0107e biti ispisana vrijednost 30 MHz. Tada vrijedi 1050 \u2013 30 = 1020 MHz.<\/p>\n<p>Vidimo da \u0107e se odzivi doga\u0111ati na frekvencijskim razmacima od 50 MHz, a ovisno o visini ulazne frekvencije mo\u017eemo imati jedan, dva ili tri odziva (indikacije maksimuma)ovisno o tome koliko se frekvencija kao produkata mije\u0161anja (frekvencija prikazana na zaslonu) nalaziu opsegu 1-50MHz.<\/p>\n<p>Princip rada ovog (kao i svakog drugog broja\u010da frekvencije) u osnovi nije kompliciran za shvatiti i ve\u0107 smo ga opisali u objavi <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crowave.com\/blog\/2016\/11\/18\/1474\/\">CHROMATIC TUNER KORG WT-12<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/korg_wt12_chromatic_tuner_09.gif\" rel=\"lightbox[2732]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1485\" src=\"http:\/\/www.crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/korg_wt12_chromatic_tuner_09.gif\" alt=\"korg_wt12_chromatic_tuner_09\" width=\"861\" height=\"332\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ulazni signal odre\u0111ene frekvencije prvo je potrebno pretvoriti u pravokutni (digitalni) signal iste frekvencijete ga poja\u010dati na amplitudu dovoljnuzadaljnju obradu u logi\u010dkim digitalnim sklopovima. To se uobi\u010dajeno radi u posebnim poja\u010dalima i sa schmittovim okidnim sklopom. Pravokutni signal zatim se dovodi na ulaz logi\u010dkih vrata. Otvaranjem i zatvaranjem ovih vrata upravlja posebni precizni oscilator pravokutnog napona \u010dije periode traju to\u010dno odre\u0111eno vrijeme (vremenska baza).\u00a0 Time se na izlazu iz logi\u010dkih vrata dobivaju samo uzorci (dijelovi) ulaznog digitaliziranog signala koji imaju trajanje onoliko dugo koliko traje pravokutni signal iz generatora. Ako npr. pravokutni signal iz generatora traje 1 sekundu, tada \u0107e i logi\u010dka vrata za ulazni signal biti otvorena samo jednu sekundu. Ako u toj sekundi kroz vrata pro\u0111e npr. 10 ulaznih impulsa, tada znamo da je frekvencija tog signala 10 Hz (deset titraja\/impulsa u sekundi). Potreban je jo\u0161 samo binarni broja\u010d koji \u0107e tu vrijednost pretvoriti u oblik pogodan za prikaz na pokaziva\u010du (digitalnom ili analognom).<\/p>\n<p>Broja\u010d frekvencije HP 5245L se dakle sastoji svih opisanih glavnih sklopova kojima su dodane vanjske kontrole za upravljanje parametrima te su sve ove komponente me\u0111usobno funkcijski povezane kontrolno upravlja\u010dkim sklopom. Crvenom bojom ozna\u010dene su komponente konvertera frekvencije. Vidimo kako je precizni stabilizirani kristalni oscilator 1 MHz zajedni\u010dka baza za broja\u010d, generator i konverter frekvencije.<\/p>\n<p><a \u0161to je zanimljivo primijetiti to je da su sve komponente broja\u010da\/generatora frekvencije HP 5245L kao i konvertera frekvencije HP 5254B izvedene \u010disto tranzistorski bez upotrebe ijednog integriranog kruga. Tako\u0111er je svaka komponenta izvedena kao zaseban modul pa je ovaj broja\u010d frekvencije lijep primjerak za upoznavanje ovakvih mjernih ure\u0111aja. Naravno, ovakva modularna izvedba uvelike olak\u0161ava detekciju i otklanjanje eventualnih kvarova na ure\u0111aju, a tranzistorska izvedba svih sklopova zna\u010dajno pro\u0161iruje mogu\u0107nosti
