Elektrode N-tipa termopara napravljene su od razli\u010ditih leguri nikla: Nicrosil (nikl, krom, silicij) i Nisil (nikl, magnezij, silicij). Baza termostata je voltmetar koji pokre\u0107e termoelektri\u010dni napon iz temperaturnog senzora (N-tip termopara). Ovaj voltmetar ima mehanizam koji na odre\u0111enoj vrijednosti napona uklju\u010duje sklopku preko koje automatika termostata dalje upravlja grija\u010dima ure\u0111aja koji kontroliramo (autoklava). Na osovini elektromotora nalazi se ekscentri\u010dna poluga kojom se prekidaju ili uklju\u010duju dvije mikrosklopke. Jedna mikrosklopka je fiksna dok se polo\u017eaj druge mo\u017ee pode\u0161avati u radijusu kretanja poluge na osovini elektromotora. REARM. MOTEUR je vjerojatno automatski osigura\u010d za elektromotor vremenske sklopke. Priklju\u010dnice MOTEUR (motor) i CHAUFFAGE (grija\u010d) su izlazne priklju\u010dnice regulatora gdje je svaka kontrolirana sa po jednim sklopnikom. FUSIBLE je osigura\u010d, a COUPLE je priklju\u010dnica za spajanje termopara. Lijepo se vidi beskontaktni mehanizam indikacije polo\u017eaja kazaljke. Aluminijski limi\u0107 pri\u010dvr\u0161\u0107en na kazaljku voltmetra giba se u odre\u0111enom opsegu unutar magnetskog polja koje \u010dine dvije zavojnice. Elektronika termostata detektira dva stanja: stanje kada listi\u0107 kazaljke prekida magnetsko polje izme\u0111u zavojnica i stanje kada je elektromagnetski tok neometan. Kod tog termostata elektromotor s reduktorom bio je ugra\u0111en u sam modul termometra i mogu\u0107e da je i tamo imao ulogu vremenske sklopke. Relej je u navedenom primjeru bio \u017eivin prekida\u010d, a kontakt s kazaljkom je bio mehani\u010dki. No kod oba termostata je zajedni\u010dko to \u0161to objedinjuju vrlo preciznu mehaniku i elektroniku \u0161to ih u kona\u010dnici \u010dini dosta slo\u017eenim napravama. Iako su razvijeni za istu namjenu i izvana su vrlo sli\u010dni, vidimo da ovakvi tipovi termostata mogu biti mehani\u010dki i elektroni\u010dki vrlo razli\u010ditih konstrukcija, te je za njihovo bolje upoznavanje ipak potrebno napraviti malo vi\u0161e mjesta na radnom stolu kako bi se napravili neki mjerni testni krugovi i promatralo njihovo pona\u0161anje na grani\u010dnim vrijednostima.
