Radi se o jednostavnom 4-kanalnom kristalnom USB (A3J) primopredajniku koji ovisno o upotrijebljenim kristalima mo\u017ee raditi u opsegu 34 \u2013 36,5MHz. Izlazna VF snaga predajnika je oko 1 W \u010dime je uz pripadaju\u0107e antene mogu\u0107e posti\u0107i domete 8-15 km. Kod amplitudne modulacije (AM) emitira se val nosilac (nose\u0107a frekvencija) i dva bo\u010dna frekvencijska pojasa kao produkt modulacije, jedan iznad i jedan ispod nose\u0107e frekvencije. Pri tome nose\u0107a frekvencija ne sadr\u017ei nikakvu informaciju ve\u0107 slu\u017ei samo za dobivanje bo\u010dnih pojaseva. Bo\u010dni pojasevi pak sadr\u017ee potpuno iste informacije, samo me\u0111usobno zrcalno modulirane. S obzirom da su dakle sve korisne informacije (zvuk, govor koji prenosimo) sadr\u017eane ve\u0107 u samo jednom bo\u010dnom pojasu, do\u0161lo se na ideju da se kod oda\u0161iljanja val nosilac i jedan bo\u010dni pojas potpuno potisnu. Na taj \u0107e se na\u010din puna snaga predajnika tro\u0161iti samo na preno\u0161enje jednog bo\u010dnog pojasa, a osim toga takav signal \u0107e zauzimati samo polovicu \u0161irine frekvencijskog opsega koju ina\u010de zauzima AM modulacija. Ovakva modulacija po\u010dela se primjenjivati od kraja 1920-tih godina i naziva se SSBSC (engl. Single Side Band SuppressedCarrier &#8211; jedan bo\u010dni pojas uz potisnut val nosilac) ili skra\u0107eno SSB. SSB modulacija kod koje se potiskuje donji bo\u010dni pojas, a emitira se samo gornji bo\u010dni pojas naziva se USB (engl. Upper Side Band &#8211; gornji bo\u010dni pojas), a ako se potiskuje gornji i emitira samo donji bo\u010dni pojas onda je to LSB modulacija (engl. Za potiskivanje vala nosioca koriste se tzv. balansnimodulatori ili DSB generatori. Na njih se dovodi NF signal iz mikrofonskog poja\u010dala (ograni\u010den u opseg cca 300-2700 Hz) i VF signal iz osnovnogoscilatora frekvencije 8,9985 MHz.Na izlazu iz takvog modulatora dobiju se dva bo\u010dna pojasa bez vala nosioca (DSB), tako da je sada potrebno jo\u0161 ukloniti i jedan bo\u010dni pojas za dobivanje \u010distog SSB signala. Ovo se u na\u0161em primjeru radi pomo\u0107u kristalnog filtra na 9 MHz. Uo\u010davamo kako oscilator8,9985 MHz ima ni\u017eu frekvenciju od filtra na 9 MHz, te \u0107e stoga kroz filter pro\u0107i samo gornji USB bo\u010dni pojas (bli\u017ei frekvenciji 9 MHz). Kad bi osnovni oscilator radio na 1,5 kHz vi\u0161oj frekvenciji od filtarske, dakle na 9,0015 MHz, tada bi kroz filter pro\u0161ao samo donji bo\u010dni pojas LSB.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Sada je SSB signal na 9 MHz potrebno podi\u0107i na \u017eeljene radne frekvencije predajnika, a to je mogu\u0107e jedino mije\u0161anjem sa frekvencijom kanalnih oscilatora koji rade na 9 MHz ni\u017eim frekvencijama od \u017eeljene radne frekvencije. Slijedi poja\u010danje ovako dobivenog signala u linearnim poja\u010dalima (u na\u0161em slu\u010daju u AB klasi) kako ne bi do\u0161lo do amplitudnog izobli\u010denja signala i time do nerazumljivosti govorne informacije sadr\u017eane u njemu. Poja\u010dani signal se preko antenskog filtra dovodi na antenu. Primopredajnik RT-1-T4 ima na izlaznom antenskom vodu spre\u017enu zavojnicupreko koje se uzima signal za indikaciju ja\u010dine antenske struje.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Da bi prijem SSB signala bio mogu\u0107 u SSB prijemniku prijemna frekvencijamije\u0161a se sa frekvencijom kanalnog oscilatora tako da se ponovno dobije MF od 9 MHz. Ista se zatim filtrira kristalnim filtrom i poja\u010dava selektivnim MF poja\u010dalima za 9 MHz, a zatim se ponovno nadomje\u0161ta i potisnuti val nosilac pomo\u0107u osnovnog oscilatoraod 8,9985 MHz. Mije\u0161anjem ove dvije frekvencije (9 MHz i 8,9985 MHz)u tzv. produkt detektoru dobivamo njihovu razliku, odnosno niske govorne frekvencije \u010dime je izvr\u0161ena kona\u010dna demodulacija SSB signala. Stoga su kod primopredajnika RT-1-T4 kristali kanalnih oscilatora smje\u0161teni u posebnu termostabilnu komoru kako bi se zadr\u017eala njihova stabilnost frekvencije s obzirom na promjenu temperature okoline.Kriti\u010dni element je i sam kristalni filtar koji mora imati usku propusnost pojasa \u0161irine 1,5 kHz sa strmim rubovima gu\u0161enja izvan tih vrijednosti te se kod projektiranja SSB ure\u0111aja kao polazi\u0161te \u010desto prvo uzima neki dostupni kvalitetni tvorni\u010dki SSB filtar na standardnim frekvencijama, na temelju kojeg se onda dalje ra\u010dunaju potrebne frekvencije kristalnih oscilatora. Sve u svemu mo\u017ee se re\u0107i da je samogradnja SSB radio ure\u0111aja jedna od slo\u017eenijih glede same sheme ali i broja kriti\u010dnih komponenti.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div \/><\/a><\/figure>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Vojni primopredajnik RT-1-T4 zami\u0161ljen je da bude \u0161to jednostavniji za kori\u0161tenje te ima svega dvije vanjske kontrole: sklopka sa potenciometrom za uklju\u010denje ure\u0111aja i pode\u0161avanje ja\u010dine zvuka u slu\u0161alicama i kanalna sklopka za odabir jednog od \u010detiri radna kanala. Od indikacija na prednju plo\u010du je ugra\u0111en mali instrument sa zakretnim svitkom koji kod prijema pokazuje napon baterija, a kod predaje ja\u010dinu antenske struje. Ove indikacije su zapravo orijentacione i pokazuju stanje ispra\u017enjenosti baterija, odnosno da li predajnik oda\u0161ilje dovoljno jak signal prema anteni. Na na\u0161em primjerku za\u0161titna plastika skale instrumenta toliko je zaprljana iznutra da je potpuno neprozirna, no sama skala nema nikakve broj\u010dane vrijednosti ve\u0107 samo podru\u010dja osjen\u010dana zeleno ili crveno. Kanalni kristali smje\u0161teni su na dosta nepristupa\u010dnom mjestu te nisu predvi\u0111eni za \u010deste izmjene. Mo\u017eemo zaklju\u010diti da je ovakav prijemnik bio u funkciji svojevrsnog prijenosnog voki-toki ure\u0111aja, odnosno namijenjen za odr\u017eavanje jednokanalneinterne telefonske veze na kra\u0107im udaljenostima.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Treba primijetiti kako su gotovo svi sklopovi primopredajnika RT-1-T4 izvedeni sa integriranim krugovima.
