Tvrtka Shaw osnovana je 1960. godine i bavi se isklju\u010divo proizvodnjom raznih mjera\u010da vlage za profesionalnu primjenu. Mjerenje postotka vlage mo\u017ee se vr\u0161iti na plinovitim, teku\u0107im i krutim tvarima, a to su uglavnom razne industrijske sirovine i proizvodi u svim agregatnim stanjima, drvo, tlo, zrak, gra\u0111evinski materijali i objekti, brojne poljoprivredne kulture i drugo.<\/p>\n<p>Mjerenje vlage u tvarima mo\u017ee se vr\u0161iti mehani\u010dkim, kemijskim, apsorpcijskim, opti\u010dkim, akusti\u010dkim, termi\u010dkim, psihrometrijskim, kondenzacijskim i drugim metodama (u novije vrijeme i nano-strukturama), a nama su najzanimljivije elektri\u010dne i elektromagnetske metode mjerenja postotka vlage u tvarima.<\/p>\n<p>Najra\u0161irenije su dvije elektri\u010dne metode mjerenja postotka vlage, a to je mjerenjem otpora (vodljivosti) ili mjerenjem kapaciteta (dielektriktri\u010dnih svojstva materijala). Osim ovih elektri\u010dnih metoda koriste se i elektromagnetske metode mjerenja poput reflektometrije u vremenskoj ili frekvencijskoj domeni, te mikrovalne i radarske metode gdje se koriste oscilatori i rezonatori na visokim radio frekvencijama (100 kHz &#8211; 1 GHz). Ove metode zbog primjene visoke frekvencije manje utje\u010du na svojstva tvari pa su stoga preciznije, no s druge strane to su znatno slo\u017eenije i skuplje metode mjerenja.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/shaw_sadp_06.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[8672]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8678 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/shaw_sadp_06.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"838\" height=\"512\" srcset=\"http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/shaw_sadp_06.jpg 838w, http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/shaw_sadp_06-300x183.jpg 300w, http:\/\/crowave.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/shaw_sadp_06-768x469.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 838px) 100vw, 838px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Kod mjerenja otpora ili vodljivosti koristi se princip da \u0107e odre\u0111ene tvari sa ve\u0107im postotkom vlage imati manji specifi\u010dni otpor, odnosno ve\u0107u vodljivost. Primjenjuje se istosmjerna struja ili izmjeni\u010dna struja niske frekvencije (do 10 khz). Elektrode se izra\u0111uju u razli\u010ditim pogodnim oblicima (igli\u010dne, kuglaste, valjkaste, cilindri\u010dne&#8230;) kako bi se \u0161to bolje prilagodile fizi\u010dkoj konzistenciji same tvari i ostvarile potrebni elektri\u010dni kontakt sa istom. Mjerenje se ovdje temelji samo na mjerenju omske otpornosti pri \u010demu se kroz ispitivanu tvar propu\u0161ta elektri\u010dna struja. Ova struja mo\u017ee izazvati promjene odre\u0111enih kemijskih svojstva materijala \u0161to \u0107e dovesti do pogre\u0161ke u mjerenju. Posebno je nepovoljno mjerenje istosmjerne strujom jer dolazi do pojave elektrolize. Stoga se za mjerenje uglavnom koristi izmjeni\u010dna struja niske frekvencije (100 Hz &#8211; 10 kHz), a sami mjerni ure\u0111aji dizajnirani su i kalibrirani za mjerenje samo jedne odre\u0111ene tvari i to su uglavnom tvari homogene strukture (zbog pravilnog kontakta sa elektrodama) koje ne mijenjaju svoja svojstva pod utjecajem elektri\u010dne struje. Ovakve vlagomjere opisali smo u objavama <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crowave.com\/blog\/2018\/03\/18\/vlagomjer-hygromette-i-karl-weiss-greiz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vlagomjer HYGROMETTE I \u2013 Karl Weiss Greiz<\/a> i <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crowave.com\/blog\/2018\/10\/11\/vlagomjer-pik\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vlagomjer PIK<\/a>. To su dakle najjednostavnije izvedbe vlagomjera sa elektrodama kojima se zatvara mjerni krug preko mjerene tvari, no postoje otporni\u010dki vlagomjeri koji koriste vlastite otporni\u010dke senzore. To su elementi izra\u0111eni od materijala kojem se mijenja elektri\u010dni otpor ovisno o apsorbiranoj vlazi iz okoline.<\/p>\n<p>Kad smo ve\u0107 kod elektri\u010dnih pretvornika vlage, spomenimo i piezoelektri\u010dni pretvornik. Ovdje je piezoelektri\u010dni kristal oblo\u017eenog slojem higroskopnog materijala. Kod njih se mijenja dielektri\u010dnost dielektrika ovisno o apsorbiranoj vlazi. S obzirom na vrstu dielektrika naj\u010de\u0161\u0107i su polimerni senzori i senzori s metalnim oksidima.<\/p>\n<p>Kod polimernih senzora izme\u0111u elektroda se nalazi higroskopni dielektri\u010dni materijal obi\u010dno od tankog listi\u0107a (1 \u00b5m) polimera, poliamida ili acetata \u00a0koji apsorbira vodu iz okoline pri \u010demu mu se mijenjanju dielektri\u010dna svojstva, a time i kapacitet senzora.<\/p>\n<p>Kapacitivni senzor sa metalnim oksidom, kakav je ugra\u0111en u vlagomjer SHAW Automatic Dewpoint Meter, posebno pogodan za mjerenje vrlo niske koncentracije vodene pare (molekula vode) u plinovima. Jedna plo\u010du senzora \u010dini povr\u0161ina od \u010distog aluminija koja je prekrivena slojem aluminijskog oksida (Al<sub>2<\/sub>O<sub>3<\/sub>). Taj metalni oksid sadr\u017ei kapilare i \u0161upljine koje su tek malo ve\u0107e od molekula vode \u010dime je taj sloj uvelike selektivan na apsorpciju gotovo samo molekula vode jer ne propu\u0161ta ni jedne druge ve\u0107e molekule u sastavu plina, odnosno molekule koje bi mogle paralelno vodi utjecati na dielektri\u010dnost senzora. Druga elektroda je u obliku filma nanesena na sloj aluminijskog oksida, a sastoji se od poroznog zlata koje je tako\u0111er propusno za molekule vode. Mjerna jedinica za tlak je Paskal ili milimetri stupca \u017eive, no skale vlagomjera su naj\u010de\u0161\u0107e ba\u017edarene u druge mjerne jedinice, u na\u0161em slu\u010daju su to <strong><em>D.P. \u00b0C<\/em><\/strong> i <strong><em>p.p.m. (V)<\/em><\/strong>. Oznaka D.P. \u00b0C (engl. Dew Point \u00b0C) ozna\u010dava tzv. &#8220;to\u010dku rose\/rosi\u0161ta&#8221;, &#8220;temperaturu rosi\u0161ta&#8221; ili &#8220;gusto\u0107u pare&#8221;. Izra\u017eava se u stupnjevima Celzijusa (ili Fahrenheit) i to je u osnovi temperatura do koje se zrak (plin) mora hladiti da bi se voda u njemu po\u010dela kondenzirati, odnosno prelaziti iz plinovitog u teku\u0107e stanje, \u0161to odgovara 100-postotnoj relativnoj vla\u017enosti zraka. Temperatura rosi\u0161ta je dakle izravno je ovisna o relativnoj vla\u017enosti zraka pa se ove dvije veli\u010dine mogu me\u0111usobno prera\u010dunavati. Druga mjerna jedinica p.p.m. (V)(engl.\u00a0 Parts Per Million by Volume) &#8220;dijelova na milijun po volumenu&#8221; ozna\u010dava omjer izme\u0111u tlaka molekula vode prema tlaku ostalih molekula plina (suhog dijela plina). Sveukupno gledano to\u010dka rosi\u0161ta u \u00b0C ili \u00b0F, tlak vodene pare u Pa ili mmHg, te dijelovi na milijun po volumenu p.p.m. (V) prakti\u010dno su jedno te ista veli\u010dina prikazana na tri razli\u010dita na\u010dina i me\u0111usobno se mogu prera\u010dunavati. Senzor je smje\u0161ten unutar kromirane cilindri\u010dne glave. Ova glava ima pokretni dio (poput poklopca senzora) koji sadr\u017ei tvar koja ne propu\u0161ta vlagu te na taj na\u010din senzor stalno \u010duva (skladi\u0161ti) u potpuno suhom okru\u017eenju tako da ne povla\u010di vlagu iz okolnog zraka. Pokretni poklopac se podi\u017ee samo prilikom vr\u0161enja samog mjerenja, tako da kod mjerenja imamo uvijek spreman suh senzor. Zrak (plin) kojem mjerimo vla\u017enost upuhuje se preko jedne priklju\u010dne cjev\u010dice, struji unutar mjerne komore sa senzorom i izlazi van preko druge cjev\u010dice. Brzina protoka plina kroz senzorsku glavu mo\u017ee biti u granicama 2-20 litara u minuti. Jedno mjerenje traje tipi\u010dno 20 sekundi. Prema tvorni\u010dkim podacima to\u010dnost mjerenja je \u00b11 p.p.m. (V) ili \u00b12\u00b0C D.P. Ure\u0111aj se napaja preko 6 standardnih C baterija (R14P) od 1,5V. Vidjeli smo da se u osnovi radi o mjera\u010du kapaciteta, a najve\u0107a specifi\u010dnost samog instrumenta je njegov senzor, koji opet generalno gledano nije ni\u0161ta drugo nego posebno prilago\u0111ena izvedba kondenzatora kojem se mijenja kapacitet u ovisnosti o tome koliko mu dielektrik povu\u010de okolne vlage.
